There seems to be quite a few women who are adverse to the feminist label. I am not.

Sadly, I have never read Jane Eyre. One of my most favorite feminist-friends reads it yearly so I’m quite certain it “qualifies.” And…it will force/invite me to finally enter its charm! The Red Tent I’ve read before, but many years ago, and want to re-think some of what Diamant is trying to convey. And yes, Lolita in Tehran. Books. Women. A great combination! Thanks for commenting. This should be a great year of connections, shared thought, and challenge.

Jane Eyre, huh? Sure, why not. This is one book I *think* I read in HS but wonder if I should reread to make sure. The Red Tent is a good one and so is Reading Lolita in Tehran. I look forward to your reviews! Thank you.
