I speak passionately on the following:

  • Telling the Truth ~ This is not simply about being honest. It’s about recognizing, as women, the places in which we edit, compromise, and even lie to ourselves. It’s about taking risks. It’s about standing up and being who we deserve and desire to be. It’s easier said than done. My deepest passion is to encourage women to live lives that are strong, tender, courageous, gorgeous, and full of both grace and power.
  • Where are the Women? ~ The “experts” in almost every field remain white men – on the panels, writing books, and speaking at conferences, in media, at events. Without discounting their value, we must acknowledge that a crucial and powerful perspective remains slight if not absent. Women have a distinct voice and deep wisdom that needs to be hailed and honored. This is a call to our culture to fill this gap. This is a call to men to seek and invite a woman’s voice. This is a call to women to step up and speak out.
  • Feminist Theology 101 ~ If religion, church, scripture, and even your experience of spirituality feel too bound up in conservatism or traditional viewpoints, a primer on womens’ distinct understanding and experience of god makes all the difference. Learning to think/imagine/believe through the lens of a woman will invite relevance, validity, and worth into systems and structures that are losing their vitality and value in both society and individual lives.
  • Customized Events ~ My best stuff comes from my own experiences. Growing up in the church and then leaving it. Marriage and divorce. Infertility and (now) raising two teenage daughters. Being laid off and then building a career that helps others find work they love. Moving from a corporate world to an entrepreneurial (and virtual) one. No matter what, I’ve got stories to tell, lessons I’ve learned, and powerful content to offer.
