It’s not often that I do such, but there are seven women I absolutely luv who are doing absolutely amazing things. It would be selfish of me not to share, don’t you think?
First, the amazing Kelly Diels. Writer/thinker/lover/mama extraordinaire, there just aren’t words for how much I luv and respect her, for what it’s like to sit across the table from her over a glass of good wine, for how thrilled I’d be for you if you were able to hear her voice and garner even a smidgen of her wisdom. Click here to view more details.
Then there is Jen Louden. I luv this woman. She is colleague, friend, and more. She created this free eBook a while back, collecting stories of the She-ro’s Journey from many, many women (including me). You should totally download your own copy. And more, you should be at her Writer’s Retreat in Taos, NM this summer. She still has a few slots left in this always-sold-out event and one of them should most definitely be yours.
To stick with the writing theme, my friend Kimberly George is a scholar, a feminist, and a writer who cannot not amaze you. She’s been on the East Coast for a couple of years now – attending Yale of all places – but will be in Seattle this summer. And while here, she’s teaching a writing workshop called Write from the Body! If you’re in the area, this is one to not be missed!
Another eBook, again free, that I’d HIGHLY recommend is that of Amy Oscar. Spring Wisdom Series: Awakening. It’s true, I’m in this one, as well, and right alongside some incredibly brilliant voices speaking on a topic we cannot get enough of. Click. Download. Learn. Savor.
And while we’re at it, you did download Heather Plett’s amazing eBook called Sophia Rises, right? It’s all about how feminine wisdom is going to change the world. Yes, free. Yes, fabulous. And since then, she’s come out with another one that you should totally check out called How to Lead with Your Paint Clothes On.
Last, but hardly least, there is (yes, STILL) Danielle LaPorte‘s amazing FireStarter Sessions. She’s finagled a huge book deal for this thing – coming out in 2012. But you can still get the digital version. And if you don’t have it, you want it. I’m tellin’ ya! Click on the orange box below and you’ll head right to all her on-fire-ness which will quickly transmute itself to you!
Oh, and I happen to know that there is one more amazing woman, one of my dearest, closest friends, who is just days away from launching a new website and releasing her own eBook. Yes…I’ll say more when it happens, but you should totally be on the edge of your seat for this one!
And you’re subscribed to Conversational Renegade-ness, aren’t you? I wouldn’t want you to miss out on any of this, my latest musings on faith, feminism, and telling the truth, and even more luv!
Thanks for letting me shamelessly promote these deserving women. Feel free to do the same!
