Love that amazing sage advising you in this way! Eleanor Roosevelt told us to "do one thing every day that frightens you." My first time on stage? Terrified! My first presentation at work for the 'powers-that-be'? I hurled before the presentation. My first photo shoot? I started it out with my hands shaking so much that the first few shots were unrecognizable. Sometimes we need to name it and work through it. But often, the fear means it's something that's important to us. It's something we want, it's something we've dreamed of. We don't get rid of the fear. We can work through some of it, sure. But it's always a part of life in some place, on some level. It's what we do with it. That's the difference. So you rock on, Ronna, because I know you're about to make some amazing things happen. And I, for one, can't wait to see it. (And am inspired by it.) Thanks for the great post! Sometimes we need to name it and work through it. But often, the fear means it’s something that’s important to us. It’s something we want, it’s something we’ve dreamed of. We don’t get rid of the fear. We can work through some of it, sure. But it’s always a part of life in some place, on some level.

It’s what we do with it. That’s the difference.

So you rock on, Ronna, because I know you’re about to make some amazing things happen. And I, for one, can’t wait to see it. (And am inspired by it.)

The get weaker in the sunlight and speaking your truth, even if its to name a fear makes you stronger.
