The Kitchen Table – an amazing new blog – is posting stories and short verse from women of faith – inviting a large and welcoming conversation. Some of my favorite writers/bloggers have been there recently, including Lindsey and Kristen. And today, I’m privileged to be there, as well.
Even as I re-read my post, In the Wasteland, one I posted here some time back, I was struck by how its themes resonate with all I’ve been considering this Lenten season in regards to the desert, to creating, to struggle, to shadow. Clearly, this is the stuff of which I speak, the familiar sands I walk.
I’m grateful to stop walking today, to sit down at a welcoming Kitchen Table, and rest. Join me. Pull up a chair. Pour a cup of coffee. Let’s have good conversation together.
