Seven Seven Seven … Your power, elegance and passion. are clearly in evidence.
Many years ago I commented to a man at my church about how much I really enjoyed listening to this particular Christian female vocalist. He made the point (argument) that everyone can sing. I disagreed but chose instead to agree. Well, you know how much Presbyterians dislike conflict.
Upon reflection I wish I would have had the courage to tell him that yes everyone can sing, but not everyone has a voice that is appealing. We don’t all have a voice that causes other to rest in hope, find clarity, seek peace, use strength, build foundations or to just cry.
A voice that makes us wanton and lustful without apology.
I wish I would have told him that not everyone has a voice we would suggest others listen to. Not everyone can effectively deliver a message, or call us to action through self reflection. Not everyone.
Keep singing Ronna – your voice is amazing.
Hard to believe, I know; but I have no words, Wayne. Other than these two: thank you.
